Conditions Report: Wednesday, December 4th 2019, 5:54 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Good morning! No new snow to report from the overnight hours. Today’s forecast is calling for any fog to break off right around opening. Temperatures are forecasted to start in the 20’s and rise to the mid 30’s by the afternoon. The snowpack will be firm and fast early with potential for softening as the day goes on. It looks like there will be an abundance of sunshine up on the mountain again today. We hope you can grab some friends and join us for some fun!!

Mt. Bachelor is now open seven days a week. Current mountain lift operations include Little Pine and Red Chair. These lifts also give access to a Woodward Hike Park open in the West Village base area. All lift services operate daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Lift ticket prices are discounted to $59 (adult) if purchased online in advance, and $69 (adult) if purchased in-person at Mt. Bachelor. Discounted prices are also available for other age groups.

Please be aware that a modified Winter Uphill Travel Policy is currently in effect. Until the snow depth increases, ALL OF MT. BACHELOR IS CLOSED TO HIKING with the exception of the Cinder Cone at West Village.

Remember that early-season conditions exist with a very shallow and light snowpack. Stay safe by skiing/riding only in open and groomed areas… and have fun!

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Good morning from Mount Bachelor!

No new snow overnight, but the mountain is currently sitting under cold and clear skies. Cold temperatures overnight allowed the groomers to lay down some fresh corduroy. The forecast for today is calling for partly cloudy skies and moderate winds. Grab your skis or snowboards and head this way to enjoy what is looking to be another beautiful day at Mt. Bachelor.

Mt. Bachelor is now open seven days a week. Current mountain lift operations include Little Pine and Red Chair. These lifts also give access to a Woodward Hike Park open in the West Village base area. All lift services operate daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Mt. Bachelor has concluded its 2018-19 ski and snowboard season. Thank you making this one of our most successful winter seasons in history! We certainly hope you enjoyed your time on the mountain and cherish the memories created on the snow with family and friends.

Join us this summer for scenic chairlift rides and lunch at Scapolo’s Bistro, Sunset Dinners at Pine Marten Lodge, downhill mountain biking and more. We’re open daily from June 15 through September 2, then will maintain a Friday-Sunday schedule for the rest of September and into October if conditions allow. View the Summer Operating Schedule for complete details.

Between now and our summer opening on June 15, all parking lots and lodges will be closed and locked. Our winter Uphill Travel Policy is no longer in effect, but please note the following if you intend to hike on the mountain:

There will be natural and man-made obstacles, including large cut-banks where mountain roads and bike trails are being cleared of snow. There will not be any warnings or markings and there will not be any safe routes down the ski trails.
Bike trails are closed; please keep off until the Bike Park opens on Saturday, June 15.
There is no patrol service available. In case of emergency, call 9-1-1.
There are no services available at Mt. Bachelor; all buildings will be closed and locked.

For the above reasons, we recommend that you find uphill adventures elsewhere. If you choose to climb Mt. Bachelor, you should prepare and act as if it’s a wilderness experience.

We look forward to seeing you this summer!
