Conditions Report: Sunday, March 15th 2020, 8:19 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

** Operations Suspended Effective 03.15.20 through 03.22.20 **

Due to the COVID-19 situation and for the safety of our staff, our guests, and our community, operations and activities (including uphill travel) have been suspended effective March 15, 2020, through March 22, 2020. Please see our COVID-19 page for the latest information as we adapt to this dynamic situation.

Uphill travel has been closed until further notice. The short answer on “why” is safety for our staff and guests. Things are changing fast for us right now. We are still going to have safety and control work and equipment like snowcats and snowmobiles that will be active around the mountain. This is not like a planned end of season closure. We have a lot of things to work through and take care of and we would very much appreciate everyone’s cooperation by observing the full closure until the situation is clearer.
