Conditions Report: Wednesday, March 4th 2020, 5:41 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Good Morning!

We sit under cold and mostly clear skies on this Wednesday morning with a few mid mountain fog layers hanging in the mix. Temperatures are in the 20’s to start with a daytime high in the high 30’s likely by the afternoon. Winds are active around the mountain in the pre-dawn hours with a few strong gusts being recorded. We should see plenty of sunshine in the mix throughout the day and the spring-like conditions will continue out on the slopes so head up early for some fresh corduroy cruising.

Rainbow lift had a part go down late last week and will be CLOSED for most of this week. The work required for it to properly and safely resume operation could take a week or more. We will update the conditions page as we have progress updates. In the meantime, Otter Rock will stay OPEN but this comes with a reminder that if you ski/ride to the bottom of the park a short hike out will be required.

Drive safe and we look forward to seeing you soon!
