Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Blanketing the mountain this morning is 4” of snowy goodness and more should still be on its way! Sunday is expected to see continued moderate snowfall this morning which is expected to taper down to light snow showers in the afternoon. Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 20’s and should climb to the high 20’s by the afternoon. Winds are coming in from the west this morning and should be moderate for most of the day. Grab some breakfast, a hot coffee or coco and do a snow dance for soft turn to be plentiful today. Then get on up here because Sunday is looking to deliver an unforgettable day filled with powdery turns and killer laps!
With the roads up to Mt. Bachelor getting fresh snow overnight and this morning, have patience when travelling to and from the mountain and be prepared to politely share our friendly mountain with a few others. There will be plenty of fresh lines for everyone! This means allowing for extra travel time and planning to eat lunch before 11:30 a.m. or after 1:30 p.m.
As bonus this weekend, Egan’s Outpost located at bottom of Outback lift through Monday! Their popular European inspired beirocks and colcannon are exceptionally fast and easy to eat in between laps! So take a run over to Egan’s and see what the buzz is all about! Also added for this weekend is a delicious taco cart located at the Sunrise Lodge deck and will be serving up killer bites today and Monday!
