Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Winter weather has returned to the mountains and we are crossing our fingers for a decent storm this weekend! The snow showers have just recently started throwing snowflakes our way, so only a light dusting is out on the slopes. Saturday is start of the storm so we can expected snow showers dropping a couple inches throughout the day. Winds should stay in the moderate range today but with the arriving storm some strong gusts are possible. Temperatures are expected to be in the in the mid to high 20’s for most of the day.
With it being a holiday weekend, you’ll want to bring some patience and be prepared to politely share our friendly mountain with a few others. This means allowing for extra travel time and planning to eat lunch in our lodges before 11:30 a.m. or after 1:30 p.m. As a bonus this weekend, we’re stationing Egan’s Outpost at the bottom of Outback lift through Monday and will have a taco cart set up on the Sunrise Lodge deck on Sunday and Monday.
