Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Good morning! The first weekend of the New Year is going to supply fresh turns as 4 inches of slope refreshing snow has fallen overnight! For today, the forecast has us seeing the tail end of the storm as snow showers will linger in the morning as temperatures will hover the mid 20’s with moderate winds. So, wax up the sticks and get up here, for Saturdays fresh turns are going to be something you won’t want to miss!
Carpool parking is on for this weekend! The first 100 cars with 4+ people will get premier parking up front in the West Village Parking Lot – look for white flags to direct you in.
Some other reminders for you…
The Family Cross zone will be closed on Saturday and Sunday for the USASA Boardercross/ Skiercross event.
Early-season conditions exist with a very shallow snowpack. Keep your eyes open for marked and unmarked obstacles and stay safe by skiing/riding only in open areas.
Be sure to check out Egan’s Outpost, the Mt. Bachelor food truck, now parked at the bottom of Skyliner lift for the holiday season. Swing on by and check out our newest food offerings!
Please be aware and respectful that our Winter Uphill Travel Policy is currently in effect. Check our Hike Zone status in Lifts & Terrain section below to view which routes are currently open.
Have fun, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
