Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Mt. Bachelor has concluded its 2018-19 ski and snowboard season. Thank you making this one of our most successful winter seasons in history! We certainly hope you enjoyed your time on the mountain and cherish the memories created on the snow with family and friends.
Join us this summer for scenic chairlift rides and lunch at Scapolo’s Bistro, Sunset Dinners at Pine Marten Lodge, downhill mountain biking and more. We’re open daily from June 15 through September 2, then will maintain a Friday-Sunday schedule for the rest of September and into October if conditions allow. View the Summer Operating Schedule for complete details.
Between now and our summer opening on June 15, all parking lots and lodges will be closed and locked. Our winter Uphill Travel Policy is no longer in effect, but please note the following if you intend to hike on the mountain:
There will be natural and man-made obstacles, including large cut-banks where mountain roads and bike trails are being cleared of snow. There will not be any warnings or markings and there will not be any safe routes down the ski trails.
Bike trails are closed; please keep off until the Bike Park opens on Saturday, June 15.
There is no patrol service available. In case of emergency, call 9-1-1.
There are no services available at Mt. Bachelor; all buildings will be closed and locked.
For the above reasons, we recommend that you find uphill adventures elsewhere. If you choose to climb Mt. Bachelor, you should prepare and act as if it’s a wilderness experience.
We look forward to seeing you this summer!
