Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Good Morning! Monday is starting off with mostly clear skies, mild winds and warm temps. It’s looking like another beautiful day in the Cascades! Come start your week off the right way, with friends, sunshine and awesome spring skiing! The sweet time seems to be in the 10:30 a.m. to Noon range. Don’t miss it!
While the season has concluded for Northwest lift, all lower westside terrain and the Summit backside, the Pine Marten, Skyliner and Summit lifts will stay on the daily schedule (weather permitting) through Sunday, May 26. The new spring boundary line on the eastside is Cow’s Face to Sunrise Getback and lower Avalanche, eventually leading to Skyliner lift. On the westside, the boundary line goes from the Summit peak hike down to the top of Northwest lift and upper Osprey Way to tower 21 road, eventually leading to the Cinder Cone saddle, Leeway run and Pine Marten lift. All included, it’s about 2,050 acres – more terrain than any other ski area still open this spring! Please respect these boundary lines and do not enter closed zones; there’s still plenty to explore in our vast open areas.
A few other things to keep in mind as Sunchaser Spring continues:
Our operating hours are now 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily through closing day on May 26. Spring lift ticket prices are in effect.
Park and start your day at West Village to enjoy breakfast, rent gear or buy a lift ticket. The Skyliner lot remains an option if you already have a valid ticket or pass and want to head straight for the snow. The Sunrise base area is closed for the season.
There is no longer any lift-served beginner terrain available. Visitors should be comfortable skiing or riding “blue square” terrain in order to have a fun day on the snow.
Group ski/snowboard lessons and childcare services have concluded for the season. Private lessons are available with an advance booking.
The Mt. Bachelor Shuttle is operating on its spring schedule.
Visit the Sunchaser Spring page for complete details about our spring operating plan.
