Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Wednesday morning starts out with comfortable temperatures and clear skies! Wednesday’s forecast is expecting partly cloudy skies throughout the day with awesome skiing and riding conditions. Light to moderate winds are expected to hang around with temperatures rising into the low 50s. Join us this Wednesday for some midweek turns up at Mt. Bachelor!
A couple of things to keep in mind as we get deeper into our Sunchaser Spring season:
The Sunrise base area is closed for the season, so you’ll want to park at West Village if want to enjoy breakfast, rent gear or buy a lift ticket. The Skyliner lot remains an option if you already have a valid ticket or pass and want to head straight for the snow.
Sunshine Accelerator lift, serving beginner terrain, is closed through Friday… but will reopen this Saturday and Sunday. As a midweek substitute, the West Village carpet and learning area will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Access to the carpet is free, but you’ll need to pick up a free ticket at Mountain Gateway before you step aboard.
Staring Monday, April 29, our operating hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily and there will no longer be any lift-served beginner terrain. Visitors should be comfortable skiing or riding from the Pine Marten lift in order to have a fun day on the snow.
The Mt. Bachelor Shuttle is operating its spring schedule.
Visit the Sunchaser Spring page for details about our operating plan through closing day on May 26.
