Conditions Report: Wednesday, March 6th 2019, 6:00 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Snow is back in full force and it has delivered 3 inches of fresh overnight! Wednesday’s forecast predicts snow throughout the day with a chance of wintery mix later in the afternoon. We expect light to moderate winds throughout the day with temperatures reaching the low 30s. Break out the pow gear and get your storm day shred on this Wednesday at Mt. Bachelor!

Even though the loose snow is slowly settling and compacting, tree well risk continues to be very high. It is essential that you educate yourself on deep snow safety and ski/ride with a partner and always keep them in eyesight when in the trees. And as you hunt for lingering powder stashes, please remember to never cross the ski area boundary line. It’s well-marked with signs and a groomed cat track with untouched powder on the other side of it. That snow is untouched for a reason – because it’s out of bounds. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy the outstanding conditions on the mountain!
