Conditions Report: Thursday, February 21st 2019, 6:00 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

The storm total keeps stacking up with two inches of snow overnight! Thursday’s forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies with light to moderate winds and temperatures staying in the low 20s. Bring both lenses just in case, because these snow showers should clear out as the day goes on!

With new low density snow comes a reminder and a responsibility to understand tree well and snow immersion hazards. Please get caught up on good safety practices and always ski or ride with a buddy in eyesight if you are headed off-trail.

As we have received some much needed new snow in the last week, preparation and construction of our halfpipe is now commencing! With snowcats working hard to build the new feature, the area being used to construct the halfpipe will be roped off and closed to the public. It is very important to your safety to avoid this closed area, as the snowcat operators will not be able to see you while building our halfpipe. Skiers and riders who enter closed areas may be subject to pass restrictions and further penalties.
