Conditions Report: Wednesday, February 20th 2019, 7:10 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Tuesday was a quintessential day for trying out all different shades of goggles as we had sunny skies in the morning which then turned cloudy as wintery weather arrived in the afternoon. For Wednesday, we can expect snow throughout the day, cool temps and moderate winds. So wax up those powder planks and keep your fingers crossed for a snowy day tomorrow!

With new low density snow comes a reminder and a responsibility to understand tree well and snow immersion hazards. Please get caught up on good safety practices and always ski or ride with a buddy in eyesight if you are headed off-trail.

As we have received some much needed new snow in the last week, preparation and construction of our halfpipe is now commencing! With snowcats working hard to build the new feature, the area being used to construct the halfpipe will be roped off and closed to the public. It is very important to your safety to avoid this closed area, as the snowcat operators will not be able to see you while building our halfpipe. Skiers and riders who enter closed areas may be subject to pass restrictions and further penalties.
