Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
A cold clear night with light winds lent a hand in letting the snowcats lay down some pristine corduroy groomers that will be amazing for today’s laps! For Tuesday morning, we are expecting mostly clear skies, light winds and cool temps. So make sure to pack your powder planks and your groomer skis so you can shred both the leftover powder stashes and the smooth groomers this morning!!
With new low density snow comes a reminder and a responsibility to understand tree well and snow immersion hazards. Please get caught up on good safety practices and always ski or ride with a buddy in eyesight if you are headed off-trail.
As we have received some much needed new snow in the last week, preparation and construction of our halfpipe is now commencing! With snowcats working hard to build the new feature, the area being used to construct the halfpipe will be roped off and closed to the public. It is very important to your safety to avoid this closed area, as the snowcat operators will not be able to see you while building our halfpipe. Skiers and riders who enter closed areas may be subject to pass restrictions and further penalties.
