Conditions Report: Monday, February 11th 2019, 5:48 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

The forecast is calling for nonstop snow, and this week is sure to be some of the best conditions we have had all winter! With heavy snow and strong winds expected today, keep in mind that some lifts may be affected — be sure to check the conditions page throughout the morning for the most up to date information on terrain and lift openings. Due to continuous, heavy snow expected throughout the day, it is strongly advised that only all-wheel drive and high clearance vehicles drive up to the mountain. The parking lot will be difficult to clear and will likely be very hard to navigate for low clearance and two wheel drive cars.

Please note that Ski Patrol has closed the cone today. The uphill route will remain closed and the cone will not be available to ski or ride until further notice. Please be sure to check the Hike Zone openings and closures noted in the Lifts & Terrain section below for the most up to date information on this terrain.

With new low density snow comes a reminder and a responsibility to understand tree well and snow immersion hazards. Please get caught up on good safety practices and always ski or ride with a buddy in eyesight if you are headed off-trail.
