Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
The two inches of snow we received overnight will serve as a great refresher for our trails. Join us on the slopes Saturday morning for some smooth weekend turns. If the winds allow, Outback will be making its season debut on Saturday. The addition of Outback will give us access to more than 1,800 acres of skiable terrain!
Alpine Ski Demo Day will be kicking off 8am Saturday morning at the Gravity Sports Demo Center. There are a limited quantity of demos and it will be on a first come first serve basis. If you want to participate we suggest you arrive early!
Forecasted winds may play a role in what lifts are able to operate. Check our conditions page throughout the day for updates on lift operations and weather.
It is important to remember that even though the terrain may look inviting and skiable, hazards still exist just below the snow surface and we want to make sure all terrain is safe prior to its opening.
Be safe in new snow: Read more about tree well and snow immersion hazards.
