Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
It’s a calm and cool Thursday morning up at Mt. Bachelor. Join us for another great day of skiing and riding. There are still plenty of powder stashes to be found!
Looking ahead, we will take this new snow and move it to where we need in hopes of being able to add Cloudchaser lift on Friday. Similar efforts will occur on Outback, but with forecast of high wind on Friday, Outback’s season opener may have to wait until the weekend. We’ll keep you posted. NOTE: You may see Outback lift spinning on Thursday, which is from opening prep work occurring and does not mean the lift is open.
Between now and then, it will be important to remember that even though the terrain may look inviting and skiable, hazards still exist just below the snow surface and we want to make sure all terrain is safe prior to its opening.
Be safe in new snow: Read more about tree well and snow immersion hazards.
