Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Opening day is here! Join us on Sunshine Lift today as we welcome to the 2018-19 winter season, a special season at Mt. Bachelor as we celebrate our 60th anniversary! After receiving over a foot of snow this week, our base area is starting to shape up nicely. We will be open today and Sunday with the Sunshine Accelerator lift, serving an easier slope and a mini-terrain park with several sliding features. Please keep in mind that early season conditions do exist. Marked and unmarked obstacles will be present on the trails. Lift tickets will be $34 if purchased online and $44 if purchased in-person at Mt. Bachelor. Children 5 & under are free.

We’ll be open this weekend out of our West Village base area with a limited selection of services available. Review our Winter Schedule & Operating Hours page for complete details about what’s open. Note that Mt. Bachelor will be CLOSED Monday-Thursday next week as we await additional snowfall and prepare other parts of the mountain for an opening on Friday, November 30, when daily operations will begin.
HIKING & UPHILL TRAVEL
Mt. Bachelor’s winter Uphill Travel Policy is now in effect. This means the only open uphill route is the Cinder Cone route. It’s open 24 hours a day, but please follow designated route markers. Leave your dog at home; they’re not allowed on the mountain.
