Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
It’s another beautiful, mild, and clear morning but rain is predicted to arrive around noon today. Light and variable wind is expected with temps in the mid-50s. We are in the final week of our 2017-18 ski and snowboard season and the conditions look especially spring-like. As a reminder, you might have your OnePass sitting in a winter coat pocket; don’t forget to take it out and bring it with you to the mountain. Have fun, be safe, and we look forward to seeing you out there!
On the mountain, watch for obstacles, as bare patches and lava rock are beginning to reveal themselves. We recommend that you ski or ride on the groomed runs. While there is no longer any beginner terrain available, there’s still plenty of fun ski terrain to explore for intermediate and advanced riders. The webcams best tell the tale; check them out.
We’re open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Sunday, May 27. Our Finale Weekend, May 26-27, will be a big party with 10 Barrel Brewing, live music, stein hoisting, pond skimming, skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking both days. Make plans to celebrate with us at the Board, Bike & Brew Festival to conclude our 2017-18 winter season!
