Conditions Report: Sunday, May 20th 2018, 8:22 pm

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

We’ve entered the final week of our 2017-18 ski and snowboard season and the weather looks especially spring-like. Expect it to be briefly chilly on some mornings, but with a strong May sun, temperatures will quickly rise into the 50s – if not the 60s – by late morning. As a reminder, you might have your OnePass sitting in a winter coat pocket; don’t forget to take it out and bring it with you to the mountain. We’d rather you enjoy your time outside on the snow rather than standing in line inside to get a replacement pass.

On the mountain, watch for obstacles, as bare patches and lava rock are increasingly revealing themselves. We recommend that you ski or ride on the groomed runs. While there is no longer any beginner terrain available, there’s still plenty of fun ski terrain to explore for intermediate and advanced riders. The webcams best tell the tale; check them out.

We’re open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Sunday, May 27. Our Finale Weekend, May 26-27, will be a big party with 10 Barrel Brewing, live music, stein hoisting, pond skimming, skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking both days. Make plans to celebrate with us at the Board, Bike & Brew Festival to conclude our 2017-18 winter season!
