Conditions Report: Sunday, May 20th 2018, 6:13 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

It’s a mild May morning on the mountain with scattered high clouds and good visibility. There are a few showers and thunderstorms moving through Central Oregon this morning, but they are currently over the desert and have stayed clear of Mt. Bachelor so far.

On the mountain, you’ll find classic spring conditions with some firm snow early, softening into corn snow by mid-morning. Watch for obstacles, as bare patches and lava rock are increasingly revealing themselves. We recommend that you ski or ride on the groomed runs. There is no beginner terrain available.

We’re open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Sunday, May 27. Our Finale Weekend , May 26-27, will be a big party with 10 Barrel Brewing, live music, stein hoisting, pond skimming, and skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking both days. Make plans to celebrate with us at the Board, Bike & Brew Festival to conclude our 2017-18 winter season!
