Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
A calm and balmy morning with a few clouds gathering overhead and conditions will be nice and soft from the start. Warm temperatures and light wind are forecast again today with a slight chance of thunderstorms well after closing. Be sure to keep an eye out for marked and unmarked obstacles now that the snow is melting, pack the sunscreen, and have fun out there!
Through our closing day of Sunday, May 27, three lifts will be scheduled each day, weather permitting: Pine Marten, Skyliner, and Summit. More than 2,000 acres will remain open, including favorites such as Cow’s Face, the Cirque Bowl and the upper Northwest terrain from Summit top. The Skyliner terrain parks will continue to be maintained and we’ll groom nearly two dozen runs each evening. Operating hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily.
As we get closer to the end of our winter season, note these additional operational changes:
There is no beginner terrain available; all visitors should be comfortable skiing/riding more-difficult “blue square” terrain
Childcare and group ski/snowboard lessons have ended for the season; private lessons available by advance appointment at 541-382-1709
Don’t forget to take your season pass out of your winter jacket and bring it with you to the mountain
Please see the updated spring bus schedule if you plan to take the shuttle to the mountain
