First light on the eastern slopes of the Cascades sets the stage for a beautiful spring day with plenty of fun turns to be had, especially from the top of Summit. Temperatures are forecasted to reach 50 degrees, so it may be beneficial to get an early start to enjoy the corn snow and endless sunshine. Its t-shirt weather at Mt. Northwest lift, westside terrain and the Summit backside will close for the season after Sunday, May 6
There is no beginner terrain available; all visitors should be comfortable skiing/riding more-difficult “blue square” terrain
Childcare and group ski/snowboard lessons have ended for the season; private lessons available by advance appointment at 541-382-1709
Don’t forget to take your season pass out of your winter jacket and bring it with you to the mountain
