Conditions Report: Sunday, April 29th 2018, 6:39 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

A fat dusting of new snow overnight, not enough to call it a full inch but a nice refresher to our spring snowpack. Light snow continues to fall with forecasts calling for a mix of clouds and sun with an occasional snow shower or two throughout the day. Lights winds will help keep our operating plan on track and with temps staying in the 30s it will feel a lot more like winter on the hill today. Head out the door, get on up here and come make some turns as we send our Westside terrain off for a summer break.

As you plan your visit to the mountain, note the following spring operational changes:

Sunrise Lodge, lift, and parking are closed for the season; start your day at West Village if you need tickets, rentals, lessons or food & beverage services.
For beginners, the Sunshine Accelerator lift will operate Saturdays & Sundays through April 29. Monday-Friday, beginners can ride the Magic Carpet from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A valid ticket/pass is required and a special carpet-only ticket is available for $10. Helmet required for youth 17 & under.
Mt. Bachelor Childcare and all services at Pine Marten Lodge are closed for the season.
Please see the updated spring bus schedule if you plan to take the shuttle to the mountain.
