Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
4 more inches of fluffy, low-density snow fell overnight and we’ve got a nice spring day ahead. Calm wind and comfortable temperatures are forecast Thursday. The groomers are wide open with squeaky corduroy and off-trail conditions will be soft with some areas skiing and riding deeper than others. If all goes to plan we should be able to get Summit spinning, conditions permitting, and with it being closed for over a week, the skiing & riding should be quite enjoyable. Have fun, be safe and we look forward to seeing you out there.
As you plan your visit to the mountain, note the following spring operational changes:
Sunrise Lodge, lift and parking are closed for the season; start your day at West Village if you need tickets, rentals, lessons or food & beverage services.
For beginners, the Sunshine Accelerator lift will operate Saturdays & Sundays through April 29. Monday-Friday, beginners can ride the Magic Carpet from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A valid ticket/pass is required and a special carpet-only ticket is available for $10. Helmet required for youth 17 & under.
Mt. Bachelor Childcare and all services at Pine Marten Lodge are closed for the season.
Please see the updated spring bus schedule if you plan to take the shuttle to the mountain.
