Conditions Report: Monday, April 16th 2018, 6:17 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Winter won’t let go of its grasp here in the Cascades, and while most resorts around the country have closed, our winter season is still alive and well for the next 6 weeks!  We picked up another inch of snow overnight, with 4” in the last 24 hours, and the skiing/riding will be excellent today. Snow will continue to fall throughout the day Monday, which could be heavy and times, along with moderate to strong winds, and temperatures in the mid-20s. There’s no better way to cure your case of the Monday’s than making some April powder turns here at Mt. Bachelor!

As you plan your visit to the mountain, note the following spring operational changes:

Sunrise Lodge, lift and parking are closed for the season; start your day at West Village if you need tickets, rentals, lessons or food & beverage services.
For beginners, the Sunshine Accelerator lift will operate Saturdays & Sundays through April 29. Monday-Friday, beginners can ride the Magic Carpet from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A valid ticket/pass is required and a special carpet-only ticket is available for $10. Helmet required for youth 17 & under.
Mt. Bachelor Childcare and all services at Pine Marten Lodge are closed for the season.
Please see the updated spring bus schedule if you plan to take the shuttle to the mountain.
