Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
An inch of heavy, spring snow fell overnight and we are excited for more on Sunday! The forecast is calling for significant accumulation today coupled with relatively light wind so it will be a delightful day on the hill. The skiing and riding on groomed trails is excellent and our snowpack is in great shape thanks to all the spring snow we’ve received. With this new high-density snow please be prepared for variable conditions throughout the mountain and some storm skiing and riding. It is an ideal day to stop by Gravity Sports for our special sale on outerwear: select jackets & pants are 40% off and winter mid-layers are 25% off.
As you plan your visit to the mountain, note the following spring operational changes:
Sunrise Lodge and parking are closed for the season; start your day at West Village if you need tickets, rentals, lessons or food & beverage services.
For beginners, the Sunshine Accelerator lift will operate Saturdays & Sundays through April 29. Monday-Friday, when Sunshine lift isn’t operating, beginners can ride the Magic Carpet at West Village. A valid ticket/pass is required and a special carpet-only ticket is available for $10.
Sunrise lift will be closed for the season after Sunday, April 15; all eastside terrain will remain accessible via Skyliner and Cloudchaser lifts.
Mt. Bachelor Childcare and all services at Pine Marten Lodge close for the season after Sunday, April 15.
Please see the updated spring bus schedule if you plan to take the shuttle to the mountain.
