Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
The Snowstake Cam is having difficulties this morning and has not updated since Friday afternoon. We hope to have this resolved soon. No new snow overnight but the recent dense, high moisture snow left our trails in a soft spring state. Mostly cloudy skies and relatively light wind are expected and groomed trails will be in excellent shape today. Off trail snow may be more variable throughout the mountain depending on aspect and elevation. Northwest and Summit are on the schedule, conditions and weather permitting. We are hosting the Gerry Lopez Big Wave Challenge today, near the events arena off of Pine Marten, where surfing and snowboarding blend to make this a one of a kind competition. Come join the fun and enjoy the festivities on the snow!
Stop by Gravity Sports in West Village for a special sale Saturday and Sunday only! All outerwear including jackets and pants will be 40% off and winter mid-layers will be 25% off this weekend.
Due to winter-like weather, we’ve decided to cancel our Sun Bar outdoor BBQ this weekend. As a substitute, Full Season Pass holders will receive a 20% discount on the special luau lunch today at West Village Lodge. Stop by the lodge, grab some lunch and listen to Bill Keale play some Hawaiian tunes as part of the Gerry Lopez Big Wave Challenge!
As you plan your visit to the mountain, note the following spring operational changes that are in effect:
Sunrise Lodge is closed for the season but restrooms are available.
Rainbow and Carrousel Chairs are closed for the season. Beginner terrain is available from the Sunshine Accelerator lift at West Village.
Please see the updated spring shuttle schedule if you plan to take the bus to the mountain.
