Conditions Report: Thursday, April 12th 2018, 6:55 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Winter just won’t let go at Mt. Bachelor and who can be mad? 6 new inches of fresh snow overnight and conditions are looking more like February powder than April spring skiing. The snow is forecasted to continue through the day on Thursday and we expect to see even more on the snow stake by the end of the day. Light winds, cold temps, and great skiing and riding will be the recipe today, so bring your powder sticks and your winter storm jacket for some midweek turns. Please use caution on the drive up, and come prepared for another Mt. Bachelor storm day.

Cliffhanger run off of Skyliner lift will be closed Thursday, April 12th for a FIS ski event. Please observe all closed areas.

As you plan your visit to the mountain, note the following spring operational changes that are in effect:

Sunrise Lodge is closed for the season but restrooms are available.
Rainbow and Carrousel Chairs are closed for the season. Beginner terrain is available from the Sunshine Accelerator lift at West Village.
Please see the updated spring shuttle schedule if you plan to take the bus to the mountain.
