Conditions Report: Wednesday, April 11th 2018, 6:04 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

A heavy dusting of snow overnight helped the grooming team lay down pristine corduroy, primed and ready for us to rip into right at opening. After a warm and wet day Tuesday, temperatures stayed well below freezing through the night and sets the stage for the forecasted snow fall to accumulate nicely at the stake during the day Wednesday. The snow showers are set to arrive early this morning and should stick around through the end of the day Thursday, and if all goes to plan we will be riding spring powder in the middle of April as we round out the week. Yeehaw! As with any storm, winds may be a factor for lift operations Wednesday; come to the mountain prepared for a winter storm day, and be sure to check the lift status information below for real time updates.

Cliffhanger run off of Skyliner lift will be closed Wednesday, April 11th for a FIS ski event. Please observe all closed areas.

As you plan your visit to the mountain, note the following spring operational changes that are in effect:

Sunrise Lodge is closed for the season but restrooms are available.
Rainbow and Carrousel Chairs are closed for the season. Beginner terrain is available from the Sunshine Accelerator lift at West Village.
Please see the updated spring shuttle schedule if you plan to take the bus to the mountain.
