Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
An eerie and surreal sight this morning with the mountain wrapped in the clouds. It will be a soggy and foggy start Friday but we are skiing and riding on the front and east sides. The wet weather will continue with rain in the forecast and light wind. Even though this storm is on the warmer side of things, a cold and active weather system is lining up for the weekend that could help the snowpack with several inches of snow, fingers crossed! Due to the current rain showers and fog, the west side terrain (Outback and Northwest) will be closed today for guest safety and snow preservation. Come take advantage of minimal lift lines and make some spring turns with us!
Pine Marten Lodge will be closed today and plans to re-open Saturday, April 7th. Restrooms will be available.
Also, remember that Spring Passes are valid to use. Ski or ride every day until our planned closing date of Sunday, May 27.

Finally, as we transition deeper into spring, it’s that time of year when we must say goodbye for the season to some of our lifts and lodge facilities. Our goal is to maximize the amount of open terrain, and our plan is to keep all 4,318 acres in play each day the weather permits in April. The following operational changes are now in effect:
Sunrise Lodge and parking are closed for the season, but the Sun Bar will be open for beverages and refreshments on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays through April 15 (weather permitting). Start your day at West Village or at the Skyliner parking lot (if you already have a valid ticket or pass for the day).
Rainbow and Carrousel Chairs are closed for the season. Beginner terrain is available from the Sunshine Accelerator lift at West Village.
Westside terrain is accessed exclusively by Northwest lift, with Outback standing by as an available alternate if Northwest is weathered-out.
Please see the updated spring shuttle schedule if you plan to take the bus to the mountain.
