Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
We are lucky to enjoy springtime in the Cascades! Another beautiful, sunny day forecast Thursday and the conditions are nice. Things will start firm and fast, beginning to soften mid-morning. Our abundant groomed terrain will be the place to start and wandering off-trail as the day moves on is suggested. We are skiing/riding all 360 degrees today and the views from the summit will be stunning. Light wind is expected Thursday and the sunblock is necessary. Take it easy on the drive up and we’ll see you out there.
Oregon’s spring break is here, and while there will be a few more folks on the slopes than normal this week, spring break is far less busy than the winter holiday periods. The forecast looks amazing for excellent skiing & boarding and the Events Calendar is full of exciting reasons to visit. Up first: a series of Corduroy Cookouts near the top of the Sunrise lift. Enjoy some munchies and cold beverages on the snow this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Jumping ahead to Saturday, it’s the third annual 10 Barrel Big Air and Snow Beach Party. And on Sunday, April 1, tradition continues with the Easter Egg Hunt for the kiddos and the Easter Keg Hunt for adults.
Finally, Spring Passes are now on sale. Passes are valid for unlimited skiing and riding from this Saturday, March 31, through our planned closing date of May 27. Priced at just $199 (for adults), the Spring Pass pays for itself after the third visit in April or May. Buy today before prices go up!
