Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Spring is here and that means abundant sunshine and soft snow. Sunday looks like it will be a beautiful day in the Cascades. Clear skies and minimal wind are forecast and the terrain begins to soften mid-morning. Groomed choices will be the name of the game this morning and we will have plenty of options to choose from. If conditions permit we will have all 4,318 acres of terrain open, but please be aware of marked and unmarked obstacles as you negotiate the mountain. Come enjoy some time outdoors and get your spring started right.
With new low density snow comes a reminder and a responsibility to understand tree well and snow immersion hazards. Please get caught up on good safety practices and always ski or ride with a buddy in eyesight if you are headed off-trail. Also, be aware of marked and unmarked obstacles as you explore the hill, especially on Summit’s backside.
Finally, it’s Spring Pass time! Passes are valid for unlimited skiing and riding from March 31 through our planned closing date of May 27 are now on sale. Priced at just $199 (for adults), the Spring Pass pays for itself after the third visit in April or May. Buy today before prices go up!
