Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Another clear and crisp spring morning. The snow from last week’s storm is still in good shape, and the skiing is superb with soft, spring like conditions and ample corduroy for cruising. Wednesday’s forecast is calling for increasing clouds as the day progresses and temperatures in the mid to high 30’s. More snow is in the forecast for Thursday and Friday, so were not done with winter quite yet. Light winds will contribute to a fun filled Wednesday, so come play in the snow on Mt. Bachelor’s 4,318 acres of open terrain. Thunderbird run off of Pine Marten will be closed Wednesday due to an OISRA race taking place, please observe all closed areas.
With new low density snow comes a reminder and a responsibility to understand tree well and snow immersion hazards. Please get caught up on good safety practices and always ski or ride with a buddy in eyesight if you are headed off-trail.
Finally, it’s Spring Pass time! Passes are valid for unlimited skiing and riding from March 31 through our planned closing date of May 27 are now on sale. Priced at just $199 (for adults), the Spring Pass pays for itself after the third visit in April or May. Buy today before prices go up!
