Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
A little over an inch last night and the conditions couldn’t be better. This storm cycle has been generous and the snow is deep in areas. Over 40 inches in the last week and more on the way. We hope to ski all 360 degrees of the mountain on Saturday if Mother Nature allows us to open Summit. The grooming team was hard at work all night laying down pristine corduroy all over the front side. This storm continues into Saturday with more snow in the forecast, and cloudy skies with temperatures in the 20’s. Please come to the mountain properly equipped with a high clearance & a 4WD or AWD vehicle, and be prepared for another storm day up here. We are still offering close in parking to the first 100 vehicles with four or more people in them, so grab some buddies and get a preferred parking spot. Also, get an early start this morning with breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m. in Cocoa’s Café at West Village, to enjoy a bite and have plenty of time to catch first chair.
With all this new low density snow comes a reminder about tree well and snow immersion hazards. A good time to get caught up on good safety practices and always ski or ride with a buddy in eyesight. Be patient on the roads and in the parking lots and we’ll see you when you get here.
Cliffhanger run off of Skyliner lift will be closed Saturday for a High School Slalom race.
