Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
We picked up a dusting of snow on Friday, and the folks that made it out were greeted with soft snow and no lift lines. The forecast is calling for a strong weather system to move across the area over the weekend that could drop some significant accumulation. Be prepared for a true Pacific Northwest storm day on Saturday – we will likely experience very strong winds and chilly temperatures with the incoming snow. Be sure to check this page frequently in the morning for real time conditions and operational updates so you can plan your day accordingly. Be safe, dress warm, and prepare for a heavy dose of winter weather in the Cascades this weekend!
Cliffhanger run off of Skyliner lift will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for race training and Corkscrew run will be closed all day – please observe closure signage. Also, scroll down for helpful tips to navigate the busy holiday weekend.
PRESIDENTS WEEKEND INFO
Snow conditions for Presidents Weekend should be excellent. It’s typically one of our busiest weekends, so here are some tips to help you plan your visit:
RV parking will be limited this weekend to one row of spots, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the row is filled, RVs will be turned away. We apologize for the inconvenience, but during busy holiday weekends we must maintain adequate parking capacity for our day visitors. Visit our RV parking page for more information.
Arrive early. The lifts open at 9:00 a.m., but breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. in West Village Lodge. Ticket sales, rental & lesson services and the Gravity Sports shop open at 8:00 a.m.
12 Day and 4 Day Passes are excluded from use this weekend: Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18. These are the final two exclusion dates of the season for these products.
Winter is back. Be prepared for winter driving conditions and have a vehicle that is appropriate for deep snow and a slippery road surface.
