Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
We are still in the freeze thaw cycle up at the mountain, with the morning starting off fast and firm, while the afternoon has much softer and almost a sugary snow texture. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for temps in the low 30’s, partly cloudy skies, and moderate winds. We have a few events happening across the mountain on Saturday, first is the Ski-Mo rally near Red Chair, a USASA Rail Jam at the Pine Marten Events Arena, and an OSSA HS race off of Skyliner. It will be an action packed day up here tomorrow, and you can always beat the morning rush by eating breakfast at Cocoa’s Café in West Village starting at 7:30 a.m., still leaving you plenty of time to catch first chair, hassle free. Snow is forecasted for late Sunday, so keep those snow dances coming our way.
After your day on the mountain, join us for the big Downtown Aprés Ski Bash at Crow’s Feet Commons Friday night with free music and a free-for-all-ages in celebration of winter in Central Oregon.
