Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
The wind threw a curveball to our operation plans today with extremely high wind gusts prohibiting us from safely running most of our high speed quads. The good news is that snow has been falling and we picked up 2” of snow since opening. This snow along with the significant storm snow accumulation from the last week has really helped to solidify our long-term snowpack. Much more favorable skiing and riding conditions should be on tap for Sunday, with the forecast calling for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid to high 30s. Please keep in mind that the high winds and significant ice-rime may cause some lifts to open a little later than 9:00 am on Sunday. Rest assured, our crews will be working hard early in the morning to get our lifts back up and running as soon as possible. Stay tuned to this page for real time conditions and lift status updates.
