Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Temperatures finally cooled down enough last night for snow to fall, but with wind drifting it’s only a trace, and some spots will be deeper than others. Even though the snow totals aren’t great, the grooming team worked their magic and laid down smooth corduroy for us on over 25 trails. Off trail conditions are pretty rough, so please stick to groomed options, and be aware of marked and unmarked obstacles as you negotiate the mountain today. This storm will be making its way out around noon with sunshine and partly cloudy skies to follow. Be sure to check out the USASA boarder and skier cross in the Events Arena off of Pine Marten, and give a cheer to our up and coming riders. It will be a fun day out there and be sure to give yourself plenty of time on your way up, we will see you when you get here.
The SKI OR RIDE IN 5℠ program has officially started! If you are taking lessons through this program, you’ll want to head over to Sunrise Lodge to get started for the day. All other daily lesson programs are headquartered in West Village (our primary base area).
If you are headed over to our Cloudchaser lift, keep in mind that the foot trail is closed to all traffic. Please use the Sunrise or Rainbow chairlifts and ski down Bluebird Run to access the Cloudchaser terrain. Thanks for you cooperation while we wait for another blast of winter goodness!
