Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
It was an excellent Christmas day in the Cascades and the mountain is riding phenomenal. We had some high winds and ice rime this morning that subsided around midday, where the skies parted and the sun came out. Over on Cloudchaser, the groomers were riding smooth and the sunshine made it out to be a classic winter day at Mt. Bachelor. Outback has plenty of powder stashes still, but please be careful traveling too far off trail as there are marked and unmarked hazards that exist. For Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures, and it is shaping up to be an awesome day to come ride. The grooming team will be back at it again setting up the hill for some pristine corduroy action. Be sure to check the lift schedule below to see what lifts we have on the schedule for tomorrow. It will be a busy week up here, so please keep an eye out for each other and be sure to thank the mountain operation teams for having this much terrain open!
The Clearing Rock Bar has a new and improved food menu this year, so be sure to stop by for a 10 Barrel beer and some tasty grub!
New this year, lessons are headquartered at West Village, so plan to start your day at our primary base area if you’d like to improve your skiing or snowboarding skills with one of our professional coaches.
