Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

It’s a beautiful morning! A little fresh snow overnight has really helped out our grooming team get some soft carveable runs ready for you. Snow began shortly before noon yesterday and continued to fall into the evening giving us a few inches to work with. Conditions have greatly improved on the east side and with mostly sunny skies and light winds forecast for today it is going to be a ton of fun!

In an effort to continue making snow and pushing it around to where we need it on the West Village side of the mountain, we’ve decided to continue operating out of the Sunrise base area for the remainder of this week. This means the same three lifts will be in operation today: Rainbow, Sunrise and Skyliner, with parking and base lodge services available at Sunrise. The Skyliner parking area will also be open.  At West Village, we will have the Mountain Gateway and Nordic Center open, but West Village Lodge and its services will be closed.

We’re still planning to shift operations back to the West Village side, and the effective date for the change is looking like Saturday at this point.  More lifts and terrain will be added for the weekend (and beyond) as well. Keep checking this page for lift and terrain status updates. Be safe, have fun!
