Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
The skiing was a lot better than expected today on groomed terrain. Off trail is a slightly different story with undercut sections and thin spots.
We have a slight chance of snow overnight with increasing clouds. Wet wintery weather is more than likely after 10:00 am tomorrow with mild temperatures throughout the day. We will probably see a repeat of today’s conditions tomorrow. The skiing on the east side of the hill off the Sunrise chair is holding up nicely on piste. You may encounter patches of straw or hay in certain areas – this is a tactic we use when we’re dealing with low-snow conditions, as it covers bare spots and helps prevent further snow melt. Please ski or ride extra cautiously and expect numerous marked and unmarked obstacles, natural and human-made. There were a lot of smiling faces on the hill today and we look forward to seeing yours tomorrow.
Sunrise, Skyliner, and Sunshine will open at 9:00 am with plenty of fun to be had. All skier services are available in the West Village with parking available in the Skyliner lot. Adult lift tickets are $63, teen ticket pricing will be $52, and youth pricing will be $39.
Let’s all send positive thoughts to Mother Nature for better weather in the days and weeks to come!
