Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
While the peaks are glowing in the morning light, the base area is shrouded in fog on this first Tuesday morning in May. Not many other ski resorts are still open this time of year but Mt. Bachelor has well over 2000 acres to come play on today. Groomers will be the place to be with a network of manicured trails ready to tear into this morning. Temps are mild first thing allowing the crunchy fast corduroy to soften as we approach the afternoon. Forecasts are calling for some precip by midday, so getting some laps in early will be the hot ticket. Have fun out there!
We’ve entered the final stretch of our spring season. Lifts will operate every day from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m with reduced lift ticket prices. Northwest lift is on the schedule through Sunday, May 7, while the Pine Marten, Skyliner and Summit lifts will lift you every day (weather permitting) through our season finale on Sunday, May 28. Cloudchaser has closed for the season, so for those skiing the east side off our Summit lift please make sure you don’t ski below the get-back over to Skyliner lift. With Sunshine Accelerator lift and the West Village carpet now closed for the season, skiers and snowboarders should feel comfortable riding the more-difficult “blue square” terrain from the Pine Marten and Skyliner lifts in order to enjoy their day on the snow. View our Springtacular page for all the details about our spring plan.
