Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Sunny blue skies mixed with a few passing clouds made for a great afternoon of spring skiing on Mt. Bachelor. A tad firmer up top and maybe a little too soft at the bottom, typical of this time of year, but most of the mountain was super fun for those that made it up on Sunday. May is on the way and should start out with some clear skies in the morning with forecasts calling for another weak system to roll through in the afternoon. Groomers will be the hot ticket on Monday and a chance at 360 degrees of riding off the Summit. The mountain gets started earlier tomorrow, all the details are below.
We’ve entered the final stretch of our spring season. Lifts will operate every day from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m with reduced lift ticket prices. Northwest lift is on the schedule through Sunday, May 7, while the Pine Marten, Skyliner and Summit lifts will lift you every day (weather permitting) through our season finale on Sunday, May 28. With Sunshine Accelerator lift and the West Village carpet now closed for the season, skiers and snowboarders should feel comfortable riding the more-difficult “blue square” terrain from the Pine Marten and Skyliner lifts in order to enjoy their day on the snow. View our Springtacular page for all the details about our spring plan.
The month of May features an action-packed event line-up. Check the Events Calendar for complete information and mark your own calendar for these upcoming events:
