Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Snow or sun, it’s spring-time according to our events calendar! For the remainder of the season, our weekends are stacked with back to back fun that shouldn’t be missed. Recently, it’s felt like the days of slashing brown pow will never come…in the meantime join us as we bring the single track to the snow for our third annual Fat Bike Freeride Rally & Race Saturday, April 29, off of Sunshine Accelerator lift starting at 9:00 a.m. Registration for the race is open to all ages and abilities and includes a ticket for Sunshine lift. Even better, it’s FREE. If you’re more into just rallying we’ll have a whole fleet of fatbikes to demo, as well. Also for Saturday, it’s island-time in the mountains again as we’ve got another Snow Beach Party on deck. Boogie by the West Village base area for a little taste of summer with live music, 10Barrel brews, games and some BBQin’!
Looking ahead to Sunday, we’re keeping the coals hot as we grill out yet again – but this time over at the base of Cloudchaser lift! Come have a brew or a brat and help us cheers Cloudchaser’s last day spinning for the season. If anything, it’s just a good excuse to kick back and work on that goggle tan.
As the season begins to wind down, some of our operations have changed. Sunrise lift is now closed and Cloudchaser is about to enter its final weekend of the season! Northwest will remain on the schedule so there will still be ample terrain to rip on. We also have our West Village Magic Carpet running 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. everyday through the end of April. As long as weather cooperates, staff will be out there loading and unloading guests. Both a helmet, for all children 17 and under, and a lift ticket are required to use it. Check out our Springtactular page for all the details about what’s open, where you can eat, and which types of lessons are still offered as this epic season continues.
