Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Our operations plan has changed as Sunrise lift is closed for the season. But with Cloudchaser and Northwest lifts remaining on the schedule, most of our 4,318 acres are still in play, weather permitting. Check out our Springtactular page for all the details about what’s open, where you can eat, and which types of lessons are still offered as this epic season continues.
Snow or sun, it’s spring-time according to our events calendar! Every weekend for the remainder of the season is stacked with back to back fun that shouldn’t be missed. First up, join us as we pay homage to our number one mama for Earth Day this Saturday, April 22. Stop by the West Village base area starting at noon for games, live music and a BBQ. Also, be sure to check out what eco-friendly products are available to demo in the vendor village at the base of Pine Marten. For Sunday, get tee’d up and work on that backswing for our annual Snow Golf Tournament. When it comes to golfing, this event is far from par for the course. With a snowy slope for the fairway, participants will swing, putt, or chip their ball down a 9-hole course all while being strapped to their planks! There’ still time to join in on the fun, register here, or swing by Pine Marten lift just to check it all out and grab some beer, grub or swag!
With a new storm cycling in, road conditions may be tricky by day’s end. Come prepared for winter mountain driving and please take your time on the way up. Given conservation is the theme of today, why not carpool? On weekends we offer those with 4 or more in a vehicle preferred parking in West Village lot as long as spots are available. Or, better yet, show our Earth that love and take advantage of the all-day FREE Mt. Bachelor Shuttle to and from the mountain.
