Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
A peachy sunrise and still, crisp mountain air this morning point to a beautiful day ahead. The foot we received over the course of this past week has been well preserved by colder temps making for some seriously fluffy, light ‘n dry pow. Calm, but chilly start to the day with temps currently in the teens, however we should see a warm up to the high-thirties before too long. Grab the sunscreen and a camera because we’ll have majorly sunny skies today giving way to incredible sweeping mountain views. Underfoot, miles of soft, squeaky corduroy on the groomers will be prime for carving this morning, while powderhounds should have no problem sniffing out those deep stashes to get their fill of faceshots. And to go along with all that goodness, we’ve got Summit scheduled to be up and running first thing, providing access to our 4,318 acres of terrain and 360° of skiable choices from the top! Fair weather rippers, tomorrow is your day as the next winter storm cycle will be back before the weekend’s up. April turns don’t get much better than this…
Snow or sun, Springtacular is here! We have a full slate of wildly fun spring events and music on tap from here on out, and the lineup for this weekend will be no exception. First up, join us for the Battle for Bachelor Rail Jam today, Saturday, April 15th in the events arena off Pine Marten. Registration is open and FREE to all you park rats that want to show off those mad jibbin’ skills! Starting at noon, be sure to swing by West Village base area for some live music at the 10 Barrel Snow Beach Party!
For Easter Sunday, those with little ones should grab their baskets and join us in West Village where our favorite ski bunny will be hoppin’ around hosting an Easter Egg Hunt. As for the rest of you, better bring that lucky rabbit’s foot because we’re holding our annual Easter Keg Hunt where you’ll have the chance to embark on the ultimate quest to find a mini keg from Deschutes Brewery that’s been hidden amongst the pow. One winner takes all. You won’t want to miss out on this!
We’re all about carpooling this season! On weekends we offer those with 4 or more in a vehicle preferred parking in West Village lot as long as spots are available. A reminder that the roads and parking lots are still holding on to ice in spots this morning. Come prepared for variable road conditions by driving a properly equipped vehicle, but more importantly, please take your time.
