Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Keep in mind that with spring underway, we have made some operational changes. Get all the details here!
Time to clear your schedule because this weekend is bound to be a blast. For one thing, we’re giving you all a chance to bask in that mountain alpenglow today by running Pine Marten lift until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8. All season passes and lift tickets purchased for Saturday will be valid to use, and we will also offer a special ‘Twilight Ticket’ on sale for $25, valid from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Put those late season legs to the test…ten-hour-perpetual-turn-challenge, anyone?
Stoke levels are at an all-time high for this weekend where we’re bringing the surf to the mountain for the legendary Gerry Lopez Big Wave Challenge. We have a slew of activities on deck, but not to be missed is watching snowboarders rip on a series of wave-like features as a panel of judges score riders on everything from style and flow to best wipeout! The main events on Saturday and Sunday can be best viewed from the top of the Events Arena off Midway run. Following the competitions on both days, join us for a luau with traditional Hawaiian grub and live music in the West Village base area. Aloha!
It’s looking like a busy Saturday on deck, plan ahead and get an early start! We’re all about carpooling this season offering those with 4 or more in a vehicle preferred parking in West Village lot as long as spots are available. With the return of winter weather, the roads and parking lots are slippery and will be challenging throughout this storm cycle. Come prepared for variable road conditions by driving a properly equipped vehicle, but more importantly, take your time.
