Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
After a tough day on the hill Thursday, we look to regroup under clearing skies and moderate breezes this morning. The havoc wrecked by yesterdays weather is over and we look for a great day under partly cloudy skies and mild winter temps. Groomers will be the name of the game and despite the conditions preventing a full grooming schedule, there will be some fabulous corduroy out there first thing.
The USCSA National Championship participants braved the elements today as the competition rolled on. Complete information about the championships is available on the USCSA website, including information for spectators, and a LIVE STREAM of the events. The competition venues will include the Thunderbird, Leeway and Midway runs along with the Slopestyle Arena and select Nordic trails.
We are still awaiting the new gear box for Outback lift and it will remain closed on Friday. The part has been purchased from Colorado and is expected to arrive on Friday. Upon arrival, it should be a quick install, and if everything goes according to plan we hope to have Outback up and spinning by Saturday. In the meantime, Northwest lift can provide access to all of Outback’s terrain, as long as weather permits.
