Conditions Report: Sunday, March 5th 2017, 6:07 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

It is always a good idea to take it easy on the roads. With the wide range of weather conditions on the drive up, the roads can be challenging if you are not properly equipped for winter mountain driving. Particularly tricky in the transition from the wet in town, to the snow on the mountain. Afternoon snow totals will also make it a challenge to get out of the parking lots when your day on the mountain is over. Plan ahead, get an early start, be patient and most importantly, have fun when you get here!

Mt. Bachelor is proud to host the USCSA National Championships this week. Collegiate participants, family, volunteers and officials will be here all week in support of alpine racing, freestyle and Nordic events. Complete information about the championships is available on the USCSA website, including information for spectators. The competition venues will include the Thunderbird, Leeway and Midway runs along with the Slopestyle Arena and select Nordic trails. Welcome and good luck!
