Conditions Report: Friday, February 3rd 2017, 5:55 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Early morning update. We are checking with our grooming and maintenance crews to get the most accurate report from the mountain. We will have another update shortly.

Rainbow lift is getting ready for its reboot on Saturday so it will be spinning all day on Friday. It will look like it’s operating but this is just the final step needed to get it ready for everybody this weekend. Thank you for your patience and understanding and we’ll see you Saturday for Rainbow 2.0.

With a winter storm rolling in, we’re experiencing winter storm conditions both on the mountain and the roads. The parking lots have transformed into virtual ice rinks, so please tread carefully to and from the lifts. The roads are also considerably icy in spots, and with the new snowfall they are increasingly challenging if you are not driving a properly equipped vehicle. Plan ahead, get an early start, and most importantly, take your time.
